Falk Ambos has more than 30 years of experience building, developing, and leading companies. As a PhD engineer, he has extensive expertise in IT, the planning and implementation of intelligent building surveillance systems, and the development and implementation of building automation based on KNX. In addition, as a long-time entrepreneur, Falk Ambos has experience in financial management, controlling, HR management, service design and development, and the process automation of business processes.

A family business
With the founding of Ambos Security, we are pursuing the goal of building a family business that offers future generations of the Ambos family entrepreneurial prospects and development opportunities. Martin Ambos, as Managing Director, already represents the generation that follows the founder. We are convinced that our business model operates in an attractive market that will enable long-term growth for the company—both technologically and economically. With our location at the former headquarters of Druckguss Heidenau in Dohna, we are returning to the place where the founder’s father, Prof. Eberhard Ambos, once carried out scientific research and technology development. In this spirit, we consistently continue the family tradition—albeit in different fields of activity.

A multi-level security concept provides tailored solutions that meet individual requirements and risks. It comprises four successive stages: basic security solutions, enhanced security solutions, intelligent security solutions, and fully automated security solutions. Each stage expands on the measures of the previous one to achieve a higher level of security. This concept enables a flexible and scalable security strategy, ensuring comprehensive protection that adapts to the specific needs of each site.
Basic security measures
Secure your premises cost-effectively with high-quality locking systems, mechanical burglary protection for windows and doors, intrusion alarm systems, and motion-controlled outdoor lighting. For additional security, we offer integration with central monitoring services. Rely on us for optimal protection at a reasonable cost.
Enhanced monitoring
We expand your site protection with IP-camera video surveillance at key points, including recording devices for storage and evidence. If desired, we can integrate remote monitoring options. Electronic access control using transponders, PIN keypads, or smart devices can also be added as needed.
Intelligent monitoring
High security requirements call for intelligent systems and comprehensive coverage. We plan proactively with powerful tools to prevent scenarios or enable rapid interventions. Our camera systems use machine learning (ML) for robust analysis under a wide range of conditions. When needed, we deploy intelligent fence sensors and optimize perimeter protection. We train your monitoring staff or provide our external monitoring facilities.
Fully automated and proactive security solution
Integrated software platforms are the basis for consolidating all monitoring systems on your premises. Using these platforms enables end-to-end, highly automated processing of relevant event data. Preventing security incidents has the highest priority at this level. The systems are complemented by robots and drones for intervention or patrols—reducing staffing needs and optimizing response routes.

Optimal conditions for modern work
Our location
Testing and validation: In our 600 sqm hall, we have plenty of space to set up demanding scenarios, test them, and verify their effectiveness for premises monitoring. In this hall, we don’t just test scenarios based on classic products such as cameras, locking systems, or motion detectors, but also modern robotics and intelligent fence sensor technology.
Lab environment: We have our own on-site lab for building building-automation solutions. Here, we rely on the KNX standard combined with modern IoT systems. We also develop solutions for implementing intrusion alarm systems based on KNX.
Modern workplaces: Creating good working conditions for creative work is especially important to us. With modern office equipment and IT infrastructure, we enable our employees to work efficiently.
Excellent transport links: Our site is easy to reach by public transport. The A17 motorway is in the immediate vicinity, and the on-ramp is only a 5-minute drive away.
