Platform selection starts with the security process
A feature list alone rarely produces a robust decision. The key questions are which events must be detected, how they are verified and which role acts next. Those answers define requirements for the interface, integrations, availability and audit trail.
For existing systems, a structured assessment is advisable. Cameras, firmware, network, recording, integrations and licences are documented before the target architecture, migration stages and controlled pilot are planned.
