Technical System Planner - Security Technology (m/w/d)

Your goal at Ambos Security

With a clear view of the bigger picture, you plan technically innovative security concepts so they are tailored to the customer’s needs and specific requirements.

You combine various components such as cameras, sensors, robots, or drones, plan test scenarios in our 600 m² test hall, and work with your team (e.g., security technology technicians) to develop advanced security designs.

Your challenges

After analyzing the customer’s security requirements and potential risks within the existing security concept, you develop a security concept and lead the testing in our test hall.

You assess both the effectiveness and efficiency of different test scenarios in order to develop the best possible recommendation.

This is where you bring in your own ideas, combine different technologies, and select the best products and manufacturers for each customer situation.

You also explore new technologies such as AI-based video surveillance, intelligent software platforms, or autonomous robots. You advise the managing directors and assess how these technologies can be used optimally, which benefits are compelling, and where the limits of their application lie.

What you bring with you

You’re interested in innovative security technology and the interplay of cameras, sensors, robots, drones, and AI.

As a foundation, you have completed training in electrical engineering—for example as an electronics technician, electrician, IT systems technician, telecommunications technician, or a comparable qualification. If you’ve gained comparable expertise through relevant professional experience, that works for us as well—feel free to apply.

Over the course of your career, you’ve already developed a strong understanding of modern security technologies, the possibilities of system integration, and the networking of different security components such as cameras, drones, robots & co.

At the start of a client project, you combine your analytical skills with the creativity to develop and test new concepts.

For technical implementation, you work closely with our technicians, but you should also bring a solid foundation in scripting and the IoT domain.

Instead of talking about challenges, you look for solutions—ideally outside the box. Your motto: “There’s no such thing as can’t.”

To carry out your tasks successfully, you have very good German language skills and a Class B driving licence (car). You’re also willing to undergo a security clearance in the future so that Ambos Security can offer its services in the critical infrastructure (KRITIS) sector as well.
